Nueva película sobre la vida de Kurt Cobain. Esta vez está basada en las más de 25 horas, nunca jamás escuchadas,de entrevistas grabadas y realizadas por el célebre periodísta Michael Azerrad. KURT COBAIN ABOUT A SON retrata los ultimos momentos íntimos del músico y artista Kurt Cobain contada integramente por su propia voz, sin ser una cinta corta, con fragmentos de noticias, ni sensacionalismos ni tan siquiera vista desde el ángulo para llegar a las masas. Más bien de quien fue él, con tomas e imágenes cinematográficas de tres cuidades en el estado de Washington (Aberdeen, Olympia y Seattle) que jugaron un papel importante en su vida. Esta huella evocativa es ahora reflejada por el célebre músico y compositor Steve Fisk y por Benjamin Gibbard, cantante de Death Cab for Cutie y también como a la música de los más de 20 artistas que influyeron a Kurt Cobain a la hora de hacer música.

A partir de octubre se estrenará en diferentes cuidades americanas, empezando el 5 de octubre en Nueva York.
