El batería de Placebo deja la banda

Una mala noticia. El batería de la banda inglesa Placebo, Steve Hewitt, ha abondonado el grupo después de 11 años juntos. Parece ser que se ha ido de forma amigable. Estas son las palabras del cantante y líder de Placebo, Brian Molto:

"Being in a band is very much like being in a marriage and in couples - in this case a triple. People can grow apart over the years."

"To say you don't love your partner anymore is inaccurate considering all that you've been through and achieved together. There simply comes a point when you realise that you want different things from your relationship and that you can no longer live under the same roof, so to speak."

Tanto Brian como Stefan Olsdal (bajista) han dicho que van a buscar un sustituto de inmediato. Steve entró en la banda en el año 96 cuando la banda estaba grabando su primer álbum y fue reemplazado por el antiguo batería Robert Schultzberg.
