La banda de rock alternativo de San Diego liderada por Tom DeLonge, ex de Blink 182, volverá con su nuevo álbum, después de su anterior álbum: We Don't Need to Whisper (2006), el próximo 23 de octubre con I Empire.

She's So Lovely

Hot Hot Heat - Happiness Ltd

el 11 de septiembre vuelve la banda Canadiense Hot Hot Heat con su tercer álbum: "Happiness Ltd", después del aclamado álbum "Elevator", (2005) con temas como "Goodnight, Goodnight” y "Middle of Nowhere".

Este álbum tiene como nuevo guitarrista a Luke Paquin, que se unió a la banda después de que se fuera elanterior,Dante DeCaro. Además este álbum ha sido co-producido por la banda e incluye al batería Paul Hawley,al bajista Dustin Hawthorne y a una gran selección de productores de primera como Butch Walker, Tim Palmer (U2, David Bowie, The Cure), y Rob Cavallo (Green Day y My Chemical Romance), entre otros.

El primer single fue “Give up?” desde marzo se podía escuchar en su página del myspace.


Y su segundo single “Let me in” salió el 16 de julio.

Ian Brown-The World Is Yours Back

El 24 de septiembre saldrá a la venta The World Is Yours Back,el quinto álbum del que fuera lider y cantante de Stone Roses: Ian Brown. Según Ian, con este álbum ha intentado enterrar todo lo relacioneado con lo que había hecho anteriormente.

El álbum estará precedido por el single 'Illegal Attacks', donde aparece la cantante Sinéad O'Connor, que también aparece en otra canción del álbum. El single estará disponible a partir del 14 de septiembre.



El que fuera el bajista de los Sniths: Andy Rourke y Paul Ryder (Ex-Happy Mondays)contribuyen en los bajos.

El ex-gujitarrista de Sex Pistols Steve Jones toca la guitarra en dos canciones: 'Sister Rose' y 'Me and You Forever'. Paul Cook (tambien ex- miembro de los Sex Pistols)toca la batería en las mismas canciones que su ex-compañero.

Por fin ya tenemos álbum de una de las mejores promesas de bandas inglesas que se han hecho hueco entre tantas bandas emergentes del panorama indie del momento en el Reino Unido. Se llaman Goodbooks,procedentes de Sevenoaks en Kent, y debutan con su álbum Control. disponible desde el 30 de julio.

Desde su primer single "Walk With Me", seguidos de otros como "Leni", "The Illness" y "Passchendaele" ya se veían que tenían madera para triunfar. Su directo es muy fresco y lleno de energía, prueba de ellos que emanan juventud, a penas tendrán 18 años.

Intentan sobresalir de los demás por estar bien instruidos y tener ligeras inclinaciones con respecto al sonido electrónico con un buen trabajo de guitarras.

El nuevo single de la banda inglesa de Leicester KASABIAN se llamará FAST FUSE y fue presentado a sus fans durante un concierto el pasado mes de julio.

La banda no planea trabajar en su nuevo tercer álbum hasta el próximo invierno, pero el 3 de septiembre sacará este ep (de edición limitada). El tema fue producido por el guitarrista y compositor principal del grupo, Serge Pizzorno,con su ordenador como regalo a las fans. Además en recientes declaraciones a la revista NME Serge ha dicho que está en un momento muy bueno para componer canciones.
